A good night's rest. The phrase comes from Old English where daisies were referred to as 'day's eye' – at night the petals close over the yellow centre and during the day they re-open.

Our vases are hand made from stoneware clay decorated using coloured slips and a paper resist technique.

Each vase is unique due to the nature of hand making and the unpredictability of the kiln firing. They are sturdy, functional and dishwasher proof and sometimes display characteristic minor imperfections.
