Blue Loop Head Pot

This small ornamental head pot measures 13cm to the top of its blue looped crown. Made from stoneware clay it has been hand decorated using coloured slips and underglazes. The blue hoops feel less glossy than the body of the pot which feels shiny and smooth. The final glaze firing ensures the pot is water retentive making it ideal for small plants or very short stemmed cut flowers.
