Honeydew Yellow with Blue Loop Crown and Earrings

This small ornamental head pot measures 10cm to the top of its blue looped crown. Made from stoneware clay he is painted with a Honeydew yellow slip and a brown underglaze in the pattern of graph paper. He sports a moustache and blue earrings decorated with white spots. The final glaze firing ensures the pot is water retentive making it ideal for small plants or very short stemmed cut flowers.
