Nosh Plate

Nosh
Comes from the Yiddish word -nashn, "nibble," and its earliest use in English, around 1917, was as a shortened form of nosh-house, or "restaurant."

Made from stoneware clay decorated using coloured slips and a paper resist technique. Each plate is unique due to the nature of hand making and the unpredictability of the kiln firing. They are sturdy, functional and dishwasher proof and sometimes display characteristic minor imperfections.
