Orange checkered lady with pearl earrings

This small ornamental head pot lady measures 11cm to the top of her crown of pearls. Made from stoneware clay she has been hand decorated using coloured slips and underglazes. The final glaze firing ensures the pot is water retentive making it ideal for  very short stemmed cut flowers.
