Spill The Beans: Ancient Greece
To let secret information become known. Said to be an ancient voting systyem where councillors used white beans (yes) and black/brown beans (no) to vote with. The beans from the jar were sometimes spilled accidentally or on purpose, revealing the results prematurely.

Each plate is unique due to the nature of hand making and the unpredictability of the kiln firing. They are sturdy, functional and dishwasher proof and sometimes display characteristic minor imperfections.
